Chelsea's game analysis against Tottenham

Antonio Conte's men did a fantastic job at the second match of the league. Conte's side are the first to score at Premier League game at Wembley with the stunning curler free kick goal from the hero of the kick expert of Chelsea; Marcos Alonso. Conte once again proved all the media guys wrong with his mastery in tactics and did get victory against Tottenham who were second in the previous season. Although the club is suffering from injury to the players and two key players ruled out, he dramatically won the second game with 2-1 victory.
Conte changed his entire formation of the team 3-4-4 replaced with the formation 3-5-1-1 which seems near to the previous but has a vast difference. The way Chelsea conventionally used to play emphasizing their defense played against Tottenham in full aggression and with lots of energy which was far more better than they usually played with Conte. Christensen, Rudiger and Bakayoko were the new faces in the starting line up and their performance was beyond expected and they are likely to have more game time in the coming matches. Similarly, central defender Luiz changed his central defending position and was given the role of holding midfielder alongside Kante and the role of two wing backs were excellent. Alonso brilliantly transformed his shots into target and scored two magnificent goal to make Chelsea secure three points. Having Morata and Willian in the striking position, Conte managed to keep on maintaining goal threat to Tottenham but the influence of Willian was greater than Willian. He produced more chances compared to Morata and the noticable thing is that Morata performance had improved compared to his previous matches. There is a lot of speculation regarding his fotball ability for not being the perfect substitute for Costa and that holds true cause he is not a dominating player like Costa who loves to physically dominate the defenders and score a powerful shot. Rather Morata likes to dribble and play inside the D-box and score goals in style. Morata needs to adapt in the playing style of Chelsea to score more number of goals. He proved all the criticizers wrong with his speed and dribbling ability but the shot was poor enough to get deflected and win a corner. His hard work with Conte may make him able to score goals like Costa used to. Let's hope that he will not face the number 9 curse of Chelsea. Performance of Batshuyayi was also seen improved as he went on with hard work for winning the ball which means he is hungry for game time and hungry for goals.
The aggression that Chelsea showed against Tottenham was also the main reason for dominating Tottenham and achieving victory. The way they defended and the way they were in the game was outstanding and entertaining. They were not affected by the injuries and suspensions.
